Comment below as to when you think a good time in a game would be to run such action. I believe, after a made 3FG (3FGM) made by either team is a good time. When your opponent makes a momentum shifting play, you can quickly and quietly stop the emotional tilt by scoring a back-breaking backdoor layup. Conversely, the play following your team's 3FGM could be a sharp, frustrating-to-the-defense backdoor layup.

Agree. Our team is one of those teams that does over-play, especially on wing denials and choking ball reversal from the wing to the TOK.

Another good time to run a backdoor is when the defense plays too aggressively. I’ve ran into this a few times this past season. By playing too aggressively, they stand the chance of over playing and leaving a gap for a nice backdoor to be executed.
