"Celtic"
High 4-across alignment
PG screens first of the stagger on the off-the-ball defender
4 sets the second of the stagger
Options:
PG clears left corner and 4 clears outside the left block or corner-of-backboard (COB) - 2 has the whole side cleared out, maybe on a mismatch depending on the defense
After 2's cut off the stagger, the PG clears out to the right corner, and the 4 stays outside the right block or COB - 5 quick-passes the ball back to 3 on the left wing, and the left side of the floor is clear for a rim attack. ("Celtic Back")
"Auburn"
Because the defender guarding the inbounder is on-the-ball, the tight curl by 3 is usually wide open with a bounce pass.
Inbounder needs to look this option off this as long as possible
5's aggressive post up (above or on the block) is key to keep x5 from helping
2 and 4 are misdirection actions
3 needs to cut "into the backboard" getting depth and sell that they are cutting the the ballside corner.
The counter if the play is scouted is to run "Auburn Check" and 3 cut to ballside corner and have 2 roll back and make the same curl action around 5.
