A quick-hitter with great floor balance
5 sets a lateral screen-out for 2, who cuts over (looking for ball) and finishes the cut in the same-side corner.
Entry pass is made from 1-to-5.
1 cuts off a staggered flare, of which the second is usually a set-up to try and get the second screen defender to switch, leading to a slip-to-rim.
5 may dribble at the flare, but usually will hit 4 popping up to catch and reverse to 1, leading into side-ballscreen action.
Meanwhile, as the ball is being reversed, 5 and 3 set unique screens. 2x will think 2 is cutting off a flex screen set by 3, but 2x also will have to navigate the pin-down screen by 5.
1 comes off the side-ballscreen, with 4 playing off it accordingly
2 loop cuts out to FT line extended. 1 needs to attack the opposite lane-line hard, seeing if 2x will help on the drive.
2x will be trailing 2 more than likely, so 3 needs to immediately get to a catch-and-shoot position in the corner and if 2 rips to the short corner gap, it will force 3x to help, leaving the corner 3FG open.
5 is a slip option if 5x hedges out.
