Hudl TV and Production Truck

Let me start by giving you some links to explore Hudl TV and Production Truck:

In the 2024-2025 season, our basketball program will broadcast all our home basketball games (including the girls' program) live on Hudl TV. We have a Hudl Focus camera in our Arena (as many of you have), which will be the main source of the video feed. Furthermore, we have decided to offer free access to the live stream for fans who are unable to attend in person.

Nevertheless, since Hudl introduced Production Truck a year ago, we are planning to generate revenue from this service by enabling local businesses, organizations, and community stakeholders to advertise during the broadcast. This initiative will be carried out alongside a new student-run media team that is keen on creating, filming, and taking on roles as on-air talent (providing play-by-play commentary and color commentary).

If I can learn it in an hour on Youtube, any coach can also master the technology from a technological perspective. Hudl offers highly effective online video tutorials. Last month, I attended two webinars to enhance my understanding of this new way to engage with the community.

Through this platform, coaches can raise funds for their program by securing sponsorships, involve their fans in innovative ways, and provide students with additional learning opportunities. We are introducing several sponsorship packages to our business community, which will include logo placement on the live stream, commercials during breaks in the game, and naming rights for different segments of the game (such as pre-game, starting line-ups, and half-time recap).
