This play starts with a Ram-screen. I usually use two wings in this action, one that can take advantage of an empty side with penetration, and the other player can be the shooting option off tight stagger screens. Both the 2 and the 3 will be potential shooters and penetrators.
Set the guard-to-guard ballscreen high on the floor. This will help with the timing of the play. It doesn't matter where 5 and 4 are, just as long as they are partnered on the sideline. The 3 as well as the 2 must sprint to set their screens (be slow to receive a screen, but quick to set a screen).
-My favorite action is the hook pass over to 2. The side is totally clear, as the defense will be occupied with the stagger action. 3 cuts off the stagger. If the pass to 2 isn't made, the PG can hit 3 for a shot, or dribble tight to the wing for a DHO, and then 3 can attack the left lane-line playing penetrate-and-pitch with 2.
